Energy bites are a convenient and nutritious snack option that provide a quick source of energy, making them ideal for busy lifestyles.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup nut/seed butter

  • 2 bananas, mashed

  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats

  • 3 tbsp honey/maple syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor fitted with a blade attachment, pulse the oats until they reach a flour-like consistency.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas into a smooth purée.

  3. Add the oats and remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix into a dough.

  4. Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough and roll into balls.

Tip: Coat the energy bites in cinnamon, seeds, or coconut flakes for extra flavor and texture.

Storage:

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
