Eating Well
Eating well is vital to our overall health, but making kidney-friendly food choices is not always easy. While there is no standard “kidney diet”, there are common food or fluid restrictions as kidney disease progresses. This section shares kidney-friendly options for wherever you are on your kidney journey.
Have Fun While Eating Well
We have a variety of recipes that reflect the different needs of our kidney community, in addition to celebrating our diverse culinary traditions. Food is such an important part of all cultures and brings us together as a community. We invite you to share some of your favourite recipes with our kidney community so we can feature them for everyone to try.

The Expressive Art Lab is a creative and welcoming space where we come together to explore various types of art as a path to wellness. You don’t need to be an artist — just curious and open to trying something new!
Each session introduces simple, hands-on art activities designed to help you express yourself, build confidence, and connect with others. Together we’ll learn new expressive art skills; share ideas and reflections in a supportive group; and grow in confidence, creativity, and self-awareness.
Whether you're looking to de-stress, reconnect with your creative side, or simply enjoy a moment of calm, you're welcome here.
