Eating Well Tips

A kidney-friendly diet varies depending on whether a person has healthy kidneys, early-stage kidney disease, or advanced kidney disease, as dietary needs become more specific at each stage.

Eating Well Tips for Kidney Patients

Depending on which stage you are at, your kidney journey can impact your overall diet. While there there isn’t a single type of kidney diet, there is some common advice to help everyone take care of their kidney health. Registered dietitian, Dani Renouf, shares this as well as some tips for kidney patients, from newly diagnosed to post-transplant, here on Kidney Wellness Hub.

Remember this information provided on this site and in these videos is not medical. It is general guidance for kidney patients. Everyone’s dietary needs and the situation is different, and this information is not intended to replace that of your health care team.
