Walking to Wellness Community Meetups
Everyone can benefit from adding more movement to their day. But getting started and staying consistent can be challenging. That’s why the Kidney Foundation is launching the Walking to Wellness Community Meetups initiative.
This community-focused walking program is designed for everyone—no matter your current fitness level. Whether you’re just starting to move more, have limited mobility, or are already active, this program offers a plan tailored to your needs. You’ll improve your strength, balance, and flexibility through walking intervals and exercises in a supportive environment.
Developed by a kinesiologist, Walking to Wellness is designed to make fitness enjoyable and achievable for everyone. It offers gradual, personalized training to help you build fitness, strength, and endurance based on your unique abilities and goals.
These inclusive sessions are a fun and supportive way to meet new friends and stay motivated, with encouragement from trained volunteers. Led by Kidney Foundation volunteers who are dedicated to helping you achieve your success. Feel free to bring your friends and family, and sign up to join your local Walking to Wellness group today!
