Winter Pear Salad

Winter pear salad presents a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors, creating a refreshing dish that delights the palate.
Salad Ingredients:
1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
½ cup unsalted cashews or sunflower seeds
¼ cup dried cranberries
1 apple, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 pear, peeled, cored, and sliced
Dressing Ingredients:
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup lemon juice
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tbsp minced red onion
½ tsp salt
Instructions:
In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the dressing ingredients.
In a large serving bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, cashews, dried cranberries, apple, and pear.
Just before serving, pour the dressing over the salad. Toss gently to coat.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
