Winter Pear Salad

Winter pear salad presents a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors, creating a refreshing dish that delights the palate.

Salad Ingredients:

  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped

  • ½ cup unsalted cashews or sunflower seeds

  • ¼ cup dried cranberries

  • 1 apple, peeled, cored, and sliced

  • 1 pear, peeled, cored, and sliced

Dressing Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

  • ¼ cup lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp minced red onion

  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together ingredients for the dressing.

  2. In a large serving bowl, toss together the romaine lettuce, cashews, dried cranberries, apple, and pear.

  3. Pour dressing over salad, just before serving. Toss to coat and enjoy!
