Mushroom and Balsamic Salad

Earthy, flavorful mushrooms tossed gently with a variety of fresh, vibrant greens and drizzled with a tangy balsamic vinaigrette create a simple yet elegantly presented dish that is ideal for serving as a starter.
Salad Ingredients:
1 cup assorted mushrooms
4 cups mixed greens
Dressing Ingredients:
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
½ tsp freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
Sauté mushrooms in a dry non-stick skillet.
Serve them atop a bed of greens.
Combine the dressing ingredients in a jar, secure the lid, and shake well. Dress the salad just before serving.
