Mushroom and Balsamic Salad

Earthy, flavorful mushrooms tossed gently with a variety of fresh, vibrant greens and drizzled with a tangy balsamic vinaigrette create a simple yet elegantly presented dish that is ideal for serving as a starter.

Salad Ingredients:

  • 1 cup assorted mushrooms

  • 4 cups mixed greens

Dressing Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed

  • ½ tsp freshly ground pepper

Instructions:

  1. Sauté mushrooms in a dry non-stick skillet.

  2. Serve them atop a bed of greens.

  3. Combine the dressing ingredients in a jar, secure the lid, and shake well. Dress the salad just before serving.
