Mushroom and Balsamic Salad

Earthy, flavorful mushrooms tossed gently with a variety of fresh, vibrant greens and drizzled with a tangy balsamic vinaigrette create a simple yet elegantly presented dish that is ideal for serving as a starter.

Salad Ingredients:

  • 1 cup assorted mushrooms

  • 4 cups mixed greens

Dressing Ingredients:

  • ¼ c balsamic vinegar

  • ¼ c olive oil

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed

  • ½ tsp freshly ground pepper

Instructions:

  1. Saute mushrooms in a dry non-stick skillet..

  2. Serve over a bed of greens.

  3. Mix ingredients for dressing in a jar, shake well with lid secure and dress salad just before serving.
