Socially Connecting Challenge

Pick one or more of the Socially Connecting challenges to strengthen your relationships and expand your network. Building strong connections with others not only supports your mental and emotional wellbeing but also your kidney health.

Small Steps. Lasting Impact.

  1. Pick up the phone, call a friend, or request to speak with a peer mentor

  2. Join a class or group you are interested in - try a virtual class or peer group.

  3. Find a volunteer opportunity that excites you or explore volunteer options on the Kidney Wellness Hub.

  4. Do something nice for someone else, compliment a stranger, help a friend, or share your talent with the kidney community in a virtual session on the Kidney Wellness Hub.

  5. Host a small event, coffee, or garden swap. Join the Kidney Walk or other community event to meet others in your local community.

  6. Offer help to someone, or ask for help—building trust strengthens connections. Looking for a little extra help reaching your wellness goals? Try Wellness Coaching.

  7. Share the Kidney Wellness Hub with a friend?

Reflect: After completing an activity, take a moment to notice how it made you feel and the impact on your mood or sense of connection. What is one small change you could continue to support your kidney health?

Remember, it’s not about being perfect — it’s about making better choices more often. Start small. Build confidence.
