Regularly practicing Yoga can lead to improved flexibility, strength mobility and balance. Yoga also helps us improve our mental clarity, emotional balance and provides a greater sense of overall wellbeing. However, we know it can be intimidating to get started.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to ease back into your practice, this program offers a supportive and nurturing environment to explore the transformative benefits of yoga at your own pace.

In this gentle introduction, Tamara will walk you through the foundational elements of yoga, focusing on breath awareness, basic postures, and relaxation techniques. She will guide you through each step, with instruction and modifications as needed for your needs and abilities.

No prior yoga experience is required, and all fitness levels are welcome. Whether you're seeking relief from stress, looking to improve your flexibility, or simply curious about the practice of Yoga, these sessions are the perfect starting point for your journey toward greater health and wellbeing.

A Yoga mat or carpet you can get down on will be most helpful for this Gentle Introduction to Yoga class.

Please pre-register for this complimentary 4-week series of classes.

Once you register, you will receive an email with the Zoom link for all four classes. If you are unable to join a class or two that’s okay and if you have any questions or concerns about these classes please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at kidneywellnesshub@kidney.ca
